This treatment was initiated by Dr Ives in the mid 1990's after training in San Francisco on the handling, constitution and delivery of this then novel treatment.
Booking for this treatment is essential as we do not use any botulinum toxin that is not freshly reconstituted. Botulinum toxin injections are commonly incorrectly referred to as "Botox" injections because one of the earliest preparations was named Botox.

We find excellent results with the use of Xeomin® and it is the currently preferred product due to the fact that it's stability is not cold chain dependant. Breaking of the cold chain in the case of the older products causes a loss of efficacy.
This treatment is safe and effective and not as expensive as you may think.

After 30 years of laser services being offered it is with regret that we have to announce that certain of these services will no longer be available. This is due to the downsizing cosmetic part of the practice and due to the prohibitive cost of maintaining and keeping the laser machines current. If required Dr Ives can evaluate a problem needing laser treatment and refer to a centre that has the required technology.

The lasers that have been discontinued are the following:

Alexandrite laser
Hair and pigment removal
Frequency doubled Nd-YAG laser
Vascular lesions
Q-Switched Nd-YAG laser
Tattoo removal
Excimer laser
Psoriasis and Vitiligo
C02 laser
This laser will still be used in certain surgical applications, but not for full face cosmetic resurfacing.
